New Lens

I got a new lens today and I just absolutely love it's amazing ability to take pictures in very low light and the way it can do some awesome boken (blurred background) to these photos.  I took the pictures of my nephews and niece (first three pictures) late this afternoon and all the outdoor pictures were taken at approximately 8 pm (after sunset).  I was so amazed at what this new lens can do!  Now, if I could just get my dream camera next...

Maternity Session {Sneak Peek}

I was very honored when my friend asked me to do her maternity photos.  I was even more honored that she'd let me do anything I want.  This friend is just a natural beauty!  She doesn't even begin to know her beauty inside and out.  I can't post this to Facebook but I was given permission for my blog and website.  I can't even stand the beauty of these photos; it just makes me beam to look at them.  Motherhood is truly God's most beautiful art.  So without any further ado, here is a sneak peek of our session from 7-13-13. Josh is One!!

My sweet little nephew turned one on July 5!  We got to do this super fun session today to celebrate!  It wasn't what I originally envisioned when I thought "jungle theme" but it turned out way better than I hoped.  But, I'm biased- my nephew is just way too cute!  I hope you enjoy these (low-resolution) photos as well as I do!
